Above all things, Chad is a child of God...a husband...and a dad. Chad grew up in Tacoma, WA where he attended St. Charles, Bellarmine, Stadium & Curtis High School (all while living under the same roof). His friends all joke that he went to so many local high schools because he was networking for his future career in Real Estate. Chad has always been a connector of people and was voted “Most Friendly” student of his graduating class in High School. Chad now leads a team of Realtors, "The Hauer Home Team at Keller Williams", and consistently ranks within the top 1% of REALTORs in Washington state for nearly two decades (primarily serving Pierce & Mason Counties). Chad lives in Gig Harbor with his amazing bride of 16 years, Stefanie, and their two incredible kids, Capri Abella & Ryder Mason.

In his late 30's Chad was unexpectedly diagnosed with Leukemia (Chronic lymphocytic leukemia). At that time, the doctors gave orders to Chad that he was not to do any physical activity beyond that of a "casual walk". Through this journey (that he continues down today) he was given an opportunity to truly lean into his faith in Jesus Christ in a way beyond what he had ever done before. After months of not being able to move (per doctor's orders) beyond a "casual walk", the doctors gave Chad the green light to ease into physical activity again. During that time, Chad courageously registered and vigorously trained to compete in a 70.3 half IRONMAN triathlon...a 70.3 mile race consisting of 3 sports that Chad had no prior history of partaking in (Swimming 1.2 miles, Cycling 56 miles and running 13.1 miles non-stop). Chad triumphantly completed the race as one of the last men to finish in his age group.

Chad and his wife, Stefanie Hauer, are active volunteers and supporters of the YoungLife organization that helps kids all around the world learn about and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.

During his free time, Chad enjoys spending time with his family doing anything and everything related to being on, or in, the water...usually around Raft Island (in Gig Harbor, WA) or Mason Lake, as well as riding motorcycles with his dad and wife.

Chad is an avid reader and enjoys reading all sorts of non-fiction books among the subjects of the Bible, business, finance, leadership, marriage & parenting.

Of course, all of this takes place in between the cherished time of being his kids' personal chauffeur to what often feels like endless Youth Group activities.

Born and raised in the Puget Sound region of Washington State (south of Seattle) his adult life journey began at Seattle Pacific University, where he studied business with dual concentrations in finance and marketing. It was there that his life was changed forever as his understanding of the world was expanded while experiencing God's presence for the first time in his life and then met his amazing wife, Kristen on a study abroad trip through the university.

Today, Brent and Kristen live and work in the Gig Harbor community and their household is bustling with energy, thanks to their three wonderful children, ages 13, 11, and 7. They love adventuring as a family, exploring new places, and savoring culinary experiences along the way. Some of their favorite destinations include the San Juan Islands, central Oregon, and numerous hidden bays and coves in the Puget Sound.

They are active in their community contributing time, talent, and treasure to various organizations such as their church home Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church, where Brent has served as a past Deacon and Kristen is currently serving as an Elder. They are also deeply involved with YoungLife of the Gig Harbor Peninsula and Rotary International - Gig Harbor.

Brent's life's purpose is to pursue Jesus; encourage & equip others. In that work, he LOVES learning and sharing stories of how God is saturating the world every day with His Love and drawing people to Himself.
